Curing your Polymer Clay pieces

Curing the clay Heat your oven to 130-140 C. I use fan forced at 130 C. Use any kind of oven proof tray/dish to place your items on. I use an oven proof glass baking dish. Place a clean piece of paper in the dish / tray and pop your items on the paper to bake. The paper won’t burn at that temperature and it will stop the clay from going shiny on the surface that is touching the base. Creating with clay - some tips on getting started with polymer clay Knead your polymer clay to make it soft.  Hot hands will make it too soft and hard to stay in shape – if this happens just pop the clay in the fridge for a few minutes to slightly harden again.
