Curing the clay
Heat your oven to 130-140 C. I use fan forced at 130 C.
Use any kind of oven proof tray/dish to place your items on. I use an oven proof glass baking dish.
Place a clean piece of paper in the dish / tray and pop your items on the paper to bake. The paper won’t burn at that temperature and it will stop the clay from going shiny on the surface that is touching the base.
Bake your pieces for around 30 mins for 1-2cm thickness (eg a toadstool base of 2cm diameter)
Anything bigger may need longer in the oven.
Leave to cool completely.
Your piece is finished !
